Retrieved mixed transuranic waste (250,000 gal of liquid and 87,000 gal of sludge) from underground storage tanks. Developed the sampling and analysis program for the north and south tank farms to determine the physical and radiological properties of the waste supernate and sludge.   Developed and tested remotely operated equipment for further waste sampling; tank videographics; waste measurement and mapping; and dislodging, conveyance, and transfer.
