MCE maintains a fully implemented ASME NQA-1 program for all aspects of engineering, design, fabrication, manufacturing, and testing services. We have successfully provided safety-class, quality level 1 equipment and engineering services to DOE for over a decade.

We have successfully implemented this program on numerous Department of Energy (DOE) and commercial projects, including design, fabrication, and testing workscope in support of many projects. MCE is an approved supplier on many client's evaluated supplier list.

Our QA Program is written and implemented to ASME NQA-1, 2004 edition, basic elements and supplemental criteria 1-18. During conduct of work, MCE has been responsible for management, fabrication, testing, surveillance and/or audit of the entire project Quality Program.

MCE’s established corporate procedures are used to control all aspects of client projects. These procedures include MCE-1, “Quality Assurance Program,” and MCE-2, “Implementing Procedures.” Additional project-specific procedures, including procedures for shipping and handling, can be prepared.

Contractually, MCE can flow down and monitor implementation of quality requirements to our subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with NQA-1 requirements and MCE’s QA program.

MCE’s process for flowdown of QA requirements, process for evaluation of subcontractor implementation of flowdown requirements, and responsibilities for performance are defined in the MCE QA Program Manual and MCE Implementing Procedures.
