Fabricated and machined 20 upper and 20 lower interstitial carbon steel shielding blocks and delivered the 35,000 to 80,000 lb blocks for installation at the Spallation Neutron Source Facility, a laboratory designed to generate high-energy neutrons for research applications. |

Performed renovation of two hangars and a computer facility, and constructed a new office facility, a new hanger, and a drive-through paint booth inside the hangar. Renovations included installation of new roofs, pedestrian and hangar doors, HVAC systems and all associated ductwork, potable water piping, compressed air system, and power distribution system. New construction included excavation, pouring foundations, erecting a two-story pre-engineered steel building, and installing walls, a suspended ceiling, staircases, a fire protection system, an electrical distribution system, a compressed air system, restrooms, doors, and finishes. |

Performed complete renovation of a 7,300 ft by 130 ft semi-prepared airstrip. Responsible for the design of airstrip repairs, all construction, and turnover of the airfield to the Air Force. Performed maintenance of the airfield during a U.S. Air Force exercise. |

Y-12 Cooling Tower Design/Build Project

Replaced two of several decades-old cooling towers at the Y-12 National Security Complex, including demolition and disposal of the old towers. Designed and fabricated new stainless steel tower supports and maintenance platforms and stairs to access the upper tower platform. |

Y-12 Compressed Air Upgrades
|
|
Upgraded the Compressed Air Facility in the protected area of the Y-12 National Security Complex. Large chillers, control systems, and piping were dismantled and removed from an existing facility to make space for the new compressors and control systems. This project resulted in a centralized compressed air system for the entire plant. |
