Radiation Portal Monitoring SystemsHigh-Level Waste Bogies
Designed, fabricated, and tested standardized bogies (four-wheeled trolleys that travel on a crane rails) and associated equipment (drive systems, control panels, tools). Also provided equipment to recover a failed bogie to a safe work area without the need for personnel to enter a radiological/contamination zone.
Waste Treatment Plant, Hanford Site
Richland, WA
Quality Level: NQA-1

Radiation Portal Monitoring SystemsPortable Manipulator System
Designed and built a fixed and a mobile system to deploy manipulators, hoists, and other tools to remotely perform maintenance inside the target core. Commercial, off-the-shelf equipment was modified to cost effectively meet the government's needs.
Spallation Neutron Source Facility
Oak Ridge, TN
Quality Level: 10CFR830.120

Radiation Portal Monitoring SystemsFluidic Components
Built 200 L50M jet pump nozzles used for transferring radioactive sludge for testing prior to processing. Components were made from 316L stainless steel and polished to allow for easy decontamination. The components were built to exacting tolerances and rigorous quality standards.

Puck Drum LiftPuck Drum Lift
Designed, fabricated, tested, and delivered two Puck Drum Lifts for the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project. The puck drum elevator lifts 100 gallon drums containing sorted/repackaged mixed radioactive waste between a transfer conveyor and the bagless transfer ports of a post-compact glovebox.
